Ian Nunn, the proprietor of ms4i, is a qualified
metallurgist / materials engineer. He is a Professional Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS), a Professional Graduate of the Institute of Materials, Mineralogy & Mining
(Prof Grad IMMM) and a Practising Associate of the Academy of Experts.
Most of his 20 years experience was gained within premier companies of the aerospace industry. His previous roles include principal metallurgist at British Airways Engineering
and metallurgist at an independent aero engine overhaul and repair company. In addition to aviation, he is also well qualified to provide metallurgical support to all areas
of the engineering industry, insurance markets and legal firms.
Ian has been providing independent metallurgical consultancy since 1998. At first, this was on a part time basis, whilst also in full time employment with British Airways.
In 2006, Ian left the airline and founded ms4i, in order to concentrate
on his consultancy business full time.
